International Data Corporation (IDC) has announced the appointment of Bola Adisa as Country Manager for the West Africa office of the leading technology market research company.

He will be responsible for tapping into the burgeoning opportunities currently presenting themselves across the region, the company announced in a statement.
His appointment forms part of an extensive strategic initiative aimed at growing the IDC business in Nigeria and Ghana, and enhancing the market intelligence firm’s presence throughout the rest of Africa.
“The Nigerian market is currently undergoing a period of transformation that is characterized by the growing influence of ‘3rd Platform’ technologies,” Adisa says.

Bola Adisa has more than 14 years of professional experience in various capacities, having previously excelled in the areas of business solutions management, product management, pre-sales consultancy, business development, business requirement analysis, and network engineering.
His vast ICT experience encompasses the provision of solutions to a diverse range of industry verticals, including banking, energy and natural resources, telecommunications, and government.
In his previous role as a senior industry solutions advisor for a global software services vendor, he worked closely with business development executives and C-suite decision makers in crafting best-practice solutions for constantly evolving business challenges.
