Jovagothe online hotel booking platform says it has entered a strategic partnership with AccorHotels  to expand its presence in key cities in Africa.

The companies said the partnership will be in phases in which 30 AccorHotels located in 13 countries would first be incorporated on the Jovago platform followed by the overall hotels of the Group in Africa.

According to the companies AccorHotels’ portfolio will become a part of Jovago’s catalog of 25,000 hotels in Africa, further enabling customers to book a room directly through the jovago.com website and benefit from a personalized, locally based customer service available 24/7 in several languages.

Souleyman Khol, AccorHotels VP, Sales Marketing Distribution & Revenue Management for Africa and Indian Ocean, said that the partnership with Jovago highly contributes to establish AccorHotel’s distribution strategy in Africa.

Khol added that the hotel is in a “continuous process of dynamic innovation aiming to always mix more efficiently the digital experience with its hospitality know-how.”
