KongaPay was developed in partnership with leading Nigerian banks to allow users perform one-click payments on the Konga marketplace, the e-commerce service provider says. To use KongaPay, all a customer needs is a valid bank account and a registered mobile phone number to receive this unique code and complete a transaction. According to Konga, payments made with KongaPay would be held conditionally until the transaction is satisfactorily completed. On KongaPay, customers need not enter sensitive personal information such as card details or Internet banking passwords. Customers can also get refunds for cancelled or returned orders at just one click, according to Konga. KongaPay will become accessible to Konga’s customers in July 2015.
