MoboFree says its planned local presence in Nigeria is ‘a natural next step in order to ensure more effective operations and achieve targets.’
MoboFree says its platform makes buying and selling online easy for any user with any device, not only for PCs and smartphones but also for old phones with small screens.
According to the company, over three million registered users, that include 2.2 million in Nigeria, are now on the platform.

Cristobal Alonso, Co-founder and Chairman of the board of MoboFree says that having a local presence in Nigeria would enable MoboFree to offer its users on-ground support services.
According to him, MoboFree.com is among the largest and most successful mobile social and trusted classifieds platforms in Africa.
