Under the pact, Jovago said users on Jovago.com can now enter their booking reference into SimplePay’s new Jovago button in their mobile app or at www.simplepay4u.com and pay for their hotel booking instantly.

Commenting on the alliance, Simeon Ononobi, CEO of SimplePay said that, “we look for partnerships with purpose and innovation and we believe that allowing people to pay for their Jovago booking using SimplePay ticks both these boxes.”

The Nigerian payment gateway services provider SimplePay, was founded in 2013 in Abuja, Nigeria.

Ononobi explains that the SimplePay Payment Gateway allows any business or consumer with an e-mail address and a bank account to securely, conveniently and cost-effectively send and receive payments online or through their mobile phone.

“Our network provides a global, real-time merchant transaction processing solution. SimplePay for merchants is ideally suited for small businesses, online merchants, individuals, and others currently underserved by traditional payment systems. SimplePay personal accounts are great for anyone who hates standing in line, going to the bank, or carrying cash with them everywhere.”
