How to pick up your National e-ID card
For Nigerians who have enrolled with the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) for the electronic national identity card, the government identity management agency says they can check if their card is ready and the location to pick it up.
According to NIMC, you can either wait for a text message from the agency or log on to the online card status portal of the Commission via https//
You can also speak with the Commission’s customer care agents via 0700 2255 6462 or to, NIMC said.
The agency assured those who have not been contacted to pick up their cards that it is making all efforts to hasten up the entire process of the eID Card production and issuance to those who have enrolled.

  2. i did my enrollment in Ojo Local Government, Lagos in November, 2014. Till now i did not hear anything though I have been there to asked for it but I was told is not ready. Please, notify me.

Does it take forever before a NIMC card is produced?i had my regristration in Alausa ikeja since 2014 and im yet to be contacted and often disappointed anytime i had to track only to give a result of non production or yet to be dispatched…this is really annoying as i need a form of identification desperately
