Yudala, a major e-commerce unit owned by a team of Nigerians including tech billionaire Leo Stan Ekeh, owner of the Zinox Group is promising a range of freebies at next Saturday’s launch of four stores in Lagos.
Yudala, a spinoff of Ekeh’s Zinox Group, alongside other investors under the tech conglomerate’s plan to expand its footprint to become the technology supplier of choice in the Nigerian market, according to its promoters.

Under the plan, Yudala, positioned to be “Nigeria’s first ever composite retail chain” will simultaneously open the four Lagos stores to offer ‘offline’ services to customers of the e-commerce unit of Zinox.
Next Saturday’s debut of Yudala will witness the unveiling of the stores with “mega deals, unprecedented discounts, loads of freebies including free phones for visitors” and precedes the planned go-live of the online platform, the company announced in a statement made available to Technology Times.

“Yudala, which means ‘Best wishes, Peace of mind and Prosperity’ will carve a niche for itself by being the first organisation to combine an online shopping platform with offline stores located in major cities across the country, with further expansion into other major African capitals”, promoters of the Nigerian tech company say.
Mr. Stanley Uzoechina, Vice President (Yudala Offline) says the planned debut outlets include two Experience Stores and two Smart Stores “will offers visitors a mouth-watering taste of the Yudala revolution by offering the best deals and bargain sales on a wide range of quality, pocket-friendly products.”
The Yudala Experience Stores are located at the 1st Floor, The Palms, Lekki and at 10, Medical Road, Ikeja while the Smart Stores are situated at 25B Idowu Martins Street, Victoria Island and at 5, Redemption Crescent, Gbagada, the company said.
“We are offering Nigerians a revolutionary, platinum experience of offline retail with Yudala. Apart from the bargain sales and free phones on offer, shoppers can also enjoy up to a massive 75% discount on select products at any of our Experience and Smart Stores, four of which are being officially launched on the same day.
According to him, “every Nigerian will have an opportunity to enjoy the unique experience Yudala offers as 10 additional stores will be launched nationwide before the end of August 2015, 50 stores by the end of May 2016, 151 stores by June 2017 and 512 stores by June 2019.”

He says that Yudala places high premium on making available only genuine, pocket-friendly products sourced directly from the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
“Every item purchased from us comes with a certified guarantee. As a result, the Yudala Management will take responsibility for all products purchased from and delivered by us,” he adds.
Yudala will roll out a wide range of digital products from the biggest and most renowned brands in segments starting with the full suite of ICT Products and digital Consumer Lifestyle range, the company exec says.
The Yudala product network and touch points feature Urbane Fashion, Healthy Living Products, Consumer Electronics and many more, which will be unveiled in segments, according to the company.

We are raising the bar by providing support on warranty and out-of-warranty products, including for those purchased online.
